GREENER 12-BORE TOPLEVER HAMMERGUN, serial no. 26664, for 1886, 30in. nitro reproved barrels, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 and full choke, treble-grip action, carved percussion fences, rebounding locks, border and partial scroll engraving, brushed finish, 14 1/2in. stock (crack to right underhorn), weight 6lb. 9oz.
Provenance: This Lot is accompanied by a letter from the makers stating that work was started on the gun in 1883, and was completed in 1886.
